Satish was invited by Nritya Arts to give a performance
at Walsall for their annual Diwali Function. 20 dancers and
audience of 600 appalled throughout the evening performed the
show. |

Satish was approached by the Asian Music Circuit
to prepare dancers for their concert with the famous Gujarati
singer PRAFUL DAVE. Satish prepared two Items Dandiya rass &
a garba in two days rehearsals and performed the items very
successfully at the Queen Elizabeth Hall in South Bank. |

An Annual student showcase was held at Brent Town
hall and for the first time Satish introduced Disabled dancers
who performed to a full house. The disabled dancers were the
highlight of the show and worked for a year for a stage performance.

Satish started training 60 boys & girls from
Sindhi Association of north London for their annual Diwali ball,
which was held on 3rd November at Radisson Governor hotel. The
show was a huge success with 60 dancers from the association
dancing for first time on the stage. |

Fourty students from S.A.I.D. took part in a dance
celebration 'COMING OF AGE' directed by Keith Khan at South
Bank. Meera of Akedemi of South Asian Dance produced the show.
This show was televised by Sony TV and top choreographers of
all styles of Indian dance worked together for six months to
put this show together. |

at Alexandra Palace where the main guest artist was Falguni

her disco dandiya shows, but now very popular for singing Hindi

Satish Shah was asked by the INSTITUTE OF JAINOLOGY
to present a short story of Jainism at the Millenium Dome in
McDonalds own town story theatre. The story was presented in
English dialogue with 80 participants taking part in this dance
extravaganza. |

The Academy's younger children aged eight and
nine were invited to perform folk dances with upcoming little
stars from India and the UK, by famous radio and television
personality 'SARITA SABERWAL' at her fund raising event 'WISDOM
OF HOPE' in aid of Great Ormond Children's Hospital. The event
was held at the the Wembley Conference Centre. |

celebrate its 15th anniversary with a dance extravaganza. |

The Academy was again invited by the Government
of Indian Tourist Board to perform on central stage at 'WORLD
TRAVEL MARKET' exhibition in Earls Court. In the same week the
Academy was invited to give half an hour dance spectacular at
the 'INDIA EVENING', which was held at the Portman Hotel in
marble Arch. |

Satish was asked by the Oshwal Association to
carry out a week of dance workshops where 60 children learnt
complicated dance routines. This workshop was followed by another
week of workshops organised by Bhagini Samaj of NAVNATH ASSOCIATION
where 24 children learnt one complete dance within 5 hours.

of Indian Independence. This was followed by shows in Glasgow,

Satish was asked by BBC Education to write teacher
dance workshop notes on Garba Rass and Bhangra. He aslo helped
publish the music for this workshop. |

Satish was invited by Nrtiya Arts in Birmingham
to carry out workshops for a week where he successfully taught
around 50 people. He has also been invited by numerous schools
in Basingstoke, London and Southend-on-sea to teach day workshops
on folk dance. |

exhibition 'Jewels of the East' at Wembley Exhibition Centre
and in the Indian Pavilion at the BBC Food Exhibition, Olympia.

Satish prepared 150 of his students for an annual
show of folk dances from India to audiences of 900. Ashit Desai
prefessionally recorded the music in India. Satish not only
compiled the music but also designed the most colourful costumes
ever seen by the general public. Six weeks later, he produced
a show at Wembley Conference playing to capacity audiences. |
